Public job notes are recorded anytime you add notes to a Service Record, Inspection or Replacement form. These notes are called public to imply that while the mobile user and Contractor have access to them, they are also submitted to the Client/Customer when services are performed to better explain what services were completed as part of the final invoice presented to the Client.

Anytime public notes are recorded, they are available to the mobile user though several sources including the Public Job Notes button on the work order screen. At the top of this screen the user can tab between public notes related to Service Records, Inspections and Replacement forms. Each tab will list all the public job notes related to the form type and list them chronologically by date.

Each entry will list the date the note was created, the equipment ID related to the note, the mobile users name who created the note, the record type the note was created on and the text from the note.
