Equipment List

The equipment list allows the mobile user to select any piece of equipment that has been assigned to the related Job Site. In addition, the system provides an additional piece of equipment in the list titled Jobsite. The user can select any single piece of equipent from the list enabling additional buttons allowing the user to perform equipment specific tasks.
The Jobsite equipment can be used to enter data that would not be related to any single piece of equipment. This could be doing common tasks on a number of related equipment allowing the user to log common tasks at one time under the Jobsite equipment.
Creating New Equipment
At any point the mobile user can create new equipment for the job site. Equipment is defined by the Equipment Type that falls into 11 categories. It is important to understand that Equipment Type is the ONLY field that you can NOT change once its been defined in the system. This is because the system uses the Equipment Type to set up equipment related fields specific to the type of equipment you choose.
Editing Equipment
A mobile user has the ability to edit any piece of equipment at any time by selecting the equipment from the Equipment List and then selecting the Edit Equipment button. All fields with the exception of Equipment Type are editable in the mobile device.
Viewing Equipment
At any point the mobile user can view the equipment data. This option will display all the available data that has been entered related to the equipment. This does not include reports, inspections, replacement forms and records. Those can be found in under the Equipment History option.
